McHugh(7-2) had a strong outing. He didn't give up much, just 3 hits and 3 walks in 7 innings reducing his ERA from 2.81 to 2.57. Oakland managed only 3 hits on the night. Sean Doolittle earned the save, his 13th. Ervin Santana(4-6) suffered the loss. Everyone seemed to enjoy the performance of McHugh - except Colorado. Ryu(7-4) got the win allowing no runs in 6 innings. Brandon Maurer(4-6) was hit with the loss. He allowed 2 runs and 7 hits in 7 innings. The winning ways continue for Cleveland. Parmelee had a big day against Cincinnati. He launched a rocket-shot out of the park for a Grand Slam homerun in the 6th inning and banged out a single plating a run in the 9th inning. Minnesota provided plenty of action in the 6th inning which saw them score 5 runs on 4 hits and the 9th inning with 4 runs on 3 hits.
