Albert Pujols then drew a walk. Oakland and Toronto each finished the afternoon with 10 hits. The winning pitcher was Tyler Clippard(4-3) who allowed 2 runs in 1 and 1/3 innings. Francisco Rodriguez(2-3) suffered the loss in relief. By giving up 2 runs in 1 inning his ERA increased from 3.72 to 4.10.
