The deciding run was scored by Cleveland in the bottom of the 9th. Didi Gregorius drew a walk. Gregorius took second on a stolen base. Peter Bourjos then ripped a single making Cleveland victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd. Cleveland ended up with 10 hits for the game while Tampa Bay had 3. Michael Brantley provided much of the offense. He smacked a single in the 4th inning, cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 5th inning and doubled with all three baserunners touching home in the 6th inning. St. Louis was out-hit by Philadelphia, 8 hits to 3. Julio Teheran(5-5) was tagged with the loss. He couldn't find the strike zone and allowed 8 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
